Today in Bulgaria began with significant temperature variations; according to data from the NIMH synoptic map provided by the media, as of 09:00 a.m., values across the country ranged widely from 2 to 20 degrees.
The temperatures recorded in major cities and specific regions at the specified time were as follows:
- Varna – 18 degrees;
- Plovdiv, Burgas, Vidin, and Stara Zagora – 17 degrees;
- Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, and Ruse – 15 degrees;
- Sofia, Blagoevgrad, and Kardzhali – 14 degrees.
The highest morning temperature in the country was recorded in Ahtopol, where thermometers reached 20 degrees.
In contrast to the warmer weather in populated areas, it was significantly colder in the high mountain regions. The lowest value was measured at Musala Peak, where the mercury dropped to 2 degrees, while 3 degrees were recorded at Cherni Vrah and Botev Peak.
