The National Railway Infrastructure Company reminds that during the summer season, mandatory periodic measurements of the rail temperature are carried out throughout the infrastructure every hour, and when critical temperatures above 55°C are reached, speed restrictions are introduced for a certain time on specific sections. This is a mandatory measure that ensures safe operation and protects against accidents due to loss of stability of the railway track, and may lead to minor deviations from the train schedules in the affected network section.
BDZ customers can get information about train schedules from the electronic travel guide on the company's official website (www.bdz.bg), from ticket office staff and "Information" desks, as well as on the national information phone number 02/931 11 11.
