Temporary restrictions on traffic on the Struma Motorway due to repair activities

From June 9 to 13, repair work will be carried out on sections of the Struma Motorway in the Sofia and Kyustendil regions, which will require temporary changes in traffic organization. The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to drive carefully, comply with speed limits, and strictly follow road signs.

From June 9 to 11, the asphalt pavement at the 3rd kilometer of the Struma Motorway in the direction of Blagoevgrad will be repaired, with traffic being carried out only in the overtaking lane. From June 9 to 12, work will be done on the joint at the 39th kilometer in the direction of Sofia, with traffic passing only on the emergency lane on June 9 and 10, and only on the active lane on June 11 and 12.

Between the 58th and 78th kilometers of the Struma Motorway, repairs will continue from June 9 to 11. On June 9 and 10, in the direction of Blagoevgrad, traffic will be restricted in the active and overtaking lanes, and on June 11, in the direction of Sofia, traffic will only be allowed on the emergency lane. On June 13, a joint at the 45th kilometer in the lane towards Blagoevgrad will be repaired, with traffic being carried out only on the emergency lane.

The Road Infrastructure Agency apologizes for the inconvenience, but emphasizes that the repair work is necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of travelers. Drivers must comply with speed limits, not undertake risky overtaking, and stay informed about the current road situation.
