According to OSINT analyst Def Mon, Russia is intensifying the construction of aviation shelters at least 14 military airfields in response to successful Ukrainian drone attacks that have caused serious damage to Russian military infrastructure.

The increased construction activity for the construction of engineering structures in Russia is a direct reaction to the effective Ukrainian drone attacks in the deep rear of the Russian Federation. The information on this trend comes after the operation of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), called "Spider Web", which caused significant damage to the Russian military aviation infrastructure.

Construction activities for shelters have been recorded both in the occupied Crimea and within the Russian Federation - at airports and air bases in the regions of Yeisk, Krymsk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Khanskaya (Adygea), Millerovo, Akhtubinsk, Borisoglebsk, Kursk, Lipetsk and Engels. Analyst Def Mon emphasizes that this activation of construction is a reaction to the increased attacks with Ukrainian drones, which successfully reach targets in the deep Russian rear, thus undermining Russia's air superiority.
