The study reports that Sofia is at the bottom in terms of securing bike lanes.
A worrying case from Blagonevgrad shows that the fight for the lives of children on the road continues - a 16-year-old boy was hit by a 19-year-old driver on a pedestrian crossing. The children have no serious injuries.
Experts call for urgent measures to improve urban infrastructure and limit the speed of vehicles near schools to ensure the safety of the most vulnerable road users.
