Pazardzhik Student Chemists Impress with Innovative Projects

Talented young chemists from Pazardzhik presented impressive research projects, demonstrating the skills they acquired through dual training. The students from the Vocational High School of Chemical and Food Technologies earned recognition with their projects, presented before a wide audience.

Eleventh-graders Marina Gencheva and Konstantina Dobreva, specializing in "Food and Beverage Quality Control," shared their project "Kvasena" - the living bread of time. With this project, the high school won first place in a competition organized by the University of Food Technologies in Plovdiv.

Also impressive were the projects of Sisi Rashkova and Neli Todorova on "Green Wastewater Treatment Systems," as well as the demonstration by Eva-Maria Drandarova, awarded in the national competition "Festival of Chemistry."

The Vocational High School of Chemical and Food Technologies in Pazardzhik educates over 600 students, with a significant number of them taking advantage of the dual training form. The school offers a variety of specialties focused on fields such as electrical engineering, energy, chemical technologies, and food technologies.

The students' visit was part of a working meeting that also included school principals, business representatives, and local authorities. Current topics in education were discussed, such as the development of vocational education, practical training, and the inclusion of all children.
