The Ministry of Innovation and Growth is organizing information days to support innovation clusters

The Ministry of Innovation and Growth, through the Directorate General "European Funds for Competitiveness", is organizing an information campaign for the procedure "Support for the development of existing innovation clusters" under the Program "Scientific Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Smart Transformation". Experts will present the details of the procedure to stakeholders in the cities of Sofia, Burgas, Plovdiv, Varna and Gabrovo.

The information days will be held on the following dates and in the following locations: Sofia - June 23, at the Intercontinental Hotel; Burgas - June 25, at the NHK Cultural Center; Plovdiv - June 26, at the Expo Hotel; Varna - July 2, at the Golden Tulip Hotel; Gabrovo - July 3, at the Ritual Hall of the Municipality of Gabrovo. Registration for all events starts at 9:30 AM, and the presentations will start at 10 AM.

The purpose of the procedure is to support innovation clusters that work effectively at the regional level and demonstrate concrete results in promoting innovation. The total budget of the procedure is 48.5 million leva. Eligible applicants are innovation clusters, including with approved Concepts for Integrated Territorial Investments, which have existed for at least 3 years and demonstrate the capacity to build cooperation. The deadline for submitting project proposals is 4:30 PM on September 2, 2025.
