Small eco-activists take responsibility for cleanliness in Ravnets

In the last days of the school year, the students of the Kindergarten "Temenuga" and the Primary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in Ravnets responded to a call for voluntary participation in an environmental action. Under the guidance of the teachers and with the support of the local municipality, the young volunteers undertook the cleaning of public areas in the village.

The initiative is part of the efforts of the Ravnets municipality to promote environmental awareness among the youth. Through the active involvement of children in the care for the cleanliness of the settlement, the organizers aim to instill in them values such as responsibility towards nature and society.

The eco-action is the next step in the long-term strategy of the local authorities for the sustainable development of Ravnets. Mayor Ivan Petrov emphasizes that the engagement of young people is key to achieving lasting results in environmental protection.

"We want to instill in children a care for cleanliness and nature from an early age. They are the future of our village and will bear the responsibility for its condition. That's why it's important to involve them in these causes as early as possible," Petrov commented.

The volunteers from the kindergarten and school enthusiastically responded to the invitation and participated in the cleaning of the parks, streets and squares in Ravnets. The initiative received widespread public response and was recognized as an important step in the environmental education of the youth.
