Burgas organizes the second edition of "Health Hour by the Sea" for students.

The Municipality of Burgas and the Municipal Directorate of "Healthcare, Prevention and Social Activities" are organizing the second edition of the initiative "Health Hour by the Sea" on May 27. Participants will be 4th-grade students who will receive water safety training from the Water Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross - Burgas and the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth - Burgas.

On May 27, from 10:30 to 13:30, in the Outdoor Health Corner next to the Pantheon in Burgas, the second edition of the initiative "Health Hour by the Sea" will be held. The event is organized by the Municipality of Burgas and the municipal directorate "Health, Prevention and Social Activities" as part of the activities for health prevention among children and adolescents.

Participants in this health hour will be the students from the 4th grades of the Primary School "Petko R. Slaveikov". Together with the Water Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross-Burgas and the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth-Burgas, a water safety lesson will be held. The children will learn the basic rules for safety at sea and in the pool, they will get acquainted with the equipment of water rescuers and the emergency team of the Bulgarian Red Cross. Through games, laughter and fun, they will reinforce their knowledge on prevention of water-related injuries, response in dangerous situations, and providing assistance in incidents.

The health lessons will be held once a month until the end of September.
