The business in Bulgaria is preparing for upcoming procedures under key European programs.

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a meeting where experts from the Ministry of Innovation and Growth will present the upcoming procedures for the "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" Program and the "Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Smart Transformation" Program. The event will take place on June 11, 2025, and aims to inform the business community about the funding opportunities for innovative projects.

On the initiative of the Council of Branch Organizations at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), a meeting will be held with representatives of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth. The main purpose of the event is to present the upcoming procedures for two key European programs - "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" (PKIP) and "Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Smart Transformation" (PNIIDIT).

The meeting will be attended by Iliyana Ilieva, Director General of the Directorate General "European Funds and Competitiveness" at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, Albena Meracheva, an expert at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, who will present the procedures under the PKIP Program, and Lora Yosifova, an expert at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, who will inform about the procedures under the PNIIDIT Program.

The event will be held on June 11, 2025 /Wednesday/ at 10:00 am in the building of the BCCI. All interested business representatives can confirm their participation by June 9, 2025 by sending a request to e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected].

The meeting is organized in response to the growing interest of Bulgarian companies in the financing opportunities for innovative projects under the European programs. It will provide up-to-date information on the upcoming procedures, eligible activities, application criteria, and deadlines for submitting project proposals.

Participation in the meeting is free of charge and open to all business representatives interested in the opportunities to support innovation and increase the competitiveness of their companies.
