Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov" is a partner in an international project that will teach schoolchildren how to protect the Black Sea, the university said.

Lessons will use interactive technology and a humanoid robot. The aim is for children to learn more about ecology.

The project is called HEALTHEN BSB – "Green Informatics for Raising Students' Awareness of Water Pollution and Its Impact on Human Health and the Environment".

The European Union funds it through the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin 2021-2027 programme.
