The leading fashion corporation H&M Group announced a strategic agreement with the innovative manufacturer Circulose, marking a turning point in the industrial transformation towards sustainable materials. Through a licensing mechanism, the company will integrate recycled textile fibers into the assortment of its brands - H&M, COS, Weekday, and Arket.
The information was revealed by the specialized publication Vogue Business and immediately attracted the attention of experts in the industry. Circulose, which recently overcame serious financial challenges, has resumed operations and plans large-scale production by the end of 2026.
A key focus of the agreement is H&M Group's ambitious environmental strategy - achieving 100% recycled or sustainably sourced materials by 2030. The current deal is the first of a series of three significant collaborations that the company will implement this year, including with Mango and designer Patrick McDowell.
