In the period of June 5-7, 2025, the Primary School "G. St. Rakovski" in the village of Galabets was the host of a mobility event under the National Program "Innovations in Action". The school welcomed partners from the Primary School "Graf N. Ignatiev" in the village of Graf Ignatiewo, the Primary School "Elin Pelin" in the village of Dabnik, and the Secondary School "Hristo Botev" in the town of Aytos, as well as a representative from the Regional Education Inspectorate in Burgas.
The director of the host school, Eng. M. Tsoneva-Radeva, introduced the guests to the history and traditions of the Primary School "G. St. Rakovski". The innovative project "Innovations and Traditions" was also presented. The guests observed open binary lessons in the 2nd and 4th grades, led by senior teachers Mariana Peykova, Katya Ignatova, and Todorka Dimitrova. The binary lessons demonstrated the application of a competency-based and individual approach, increased motivation for learning, and the encouragement of thinking and teamwork.
The participants in the mobility event also visited the newly opened STEM center of the Primary School "G. St. Rakovski", which includes laboratories for natural sciences, ICST, and mathematics. The interactive floor and the stereoscopic zSpace laptop aroused interest. The interactive format and the engaged participation of the guests ended with a wish for more events that would initiate dialogue and collaboration between the schools, as well as the exchange of good practices.
