The fashion industry and vocational education: A new era of collaboration

The fashion industry and the field of hairdressing and makeup are increasingly collaborating with vocational high schools in Bulgaria. Business representatives participate as mentors and jury members in national competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), such as "Young Talents in Fashion" and "Best Young Hairdresser and Makeup Artist". They also provide prizes for the winners. This partnership is part of the project "Modernization of Vocational Education and Training", which aims to connect education with real-world practice. Through the participation of proven professionals, students gain access to contemporary knowledge and guidance for their development during their studies. This collaboration is expected to lead to a closer link between theory and practice in vocational education.
