The Ministry of Education and Science will introduce new mechanisms to delineate responsibility for maintaining discipline within school buildings. According to the Ministry's upcoming proposals, these organizational changes will clearly define who is accountable for maintaining order in educational institutions.

Education Minister Prof. Georgi Valchev told the media that the new steps will focus on three main areas: sanctions, measuring actual results, and encouraging positive qualities in children. The initial disciplinary strategy involves implementing a series of punitive measures, where expulsion from school will be treated only as a last resort.

These changes in school discipline and approaches to students will also apply to families and children in Burgas and the region.

In parallel, one of the primary focuses will be related to profiling student abilities. This approach aims to identify their actual performance levels and emphasize their individual strengths.
