On September 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Georgi Baev Hall at the Sea Casino Cultural Center will host the premiere of "Shared Life"—a work that marks a new stage in the bibliography of Archpriest Dr. Stelian Kunev. "Shared Life" is the author's fourth book, but his first work of fiction. The release of this collection, which gathers 24 short stories, is directly tied to the author's 50th birthday. In these pages, he departs for the first time from the strictly academic style characteristic of his previous works, such as "The Bogomil Doctrine," "Byzantine Sources on Islam," and "The Miracle of Zidarovo Village," to offer the public a work of fiction.

The plots in the book are drawn from Dr. Kunev's long-standing practice as a priest at the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Burgas. The author holds a doctorate in theology. Through his personal lens, he reflects on his encounters with various people, their destinies, anxieties, joys, and inner spiritual quests. The collection itself is conceived as a revelation of the human journey, faith, doubt, and hope; in the author's own words, these are stories that deserve to be shared with readers.

The event promises to go beyond the scope of a standard literary presentation, incorporating elements of the performing arts. The Talantino Theater School is preparing a special dramatization of some of the stories that will come to life before the guests, and the moderator of the evening and editor of the publication will be Dr. Stoyan Georgiev.

Particular attention during the premiere is given to the visual interpretation of the texts. The program includes an exhibition of original black-and-white drawings by the renowned Burgas artist Nikolay Angelov – Gary. He is the illustrator who created graphic images specifically for "Shared Life," providing a vivid visual depiction of the characters and the events described.
