Natural gas for delivery on Thursday, 22 October, costs €80.84 per megawatt hour on Bulgaria's Gas Hub Balkan platform, the platform's data show.

This is the day-ahead price, for gas bought for the next day. The intraday reference price for today is the same, €80.84. Trading in that segment closed yesterday at €82.18.

On the Dutch TTF gas hub, November futures, which are contracts for delivery in November, rose to €88.810 per megawatt hour by 9:40am Bulgarian time, data from the international exchange ICE show.

The hub's price closed yesterday at €87.426 per megawatt hour. Trading today opened at €87.400.
