Police in Akhtopol have discovered marijuana and 12 cannabis plants. Two individuals—a 54-year-old man from Akhtopol and a 39-year-old woman from Tsarevo—were detained in connection with the case. The incident occurred on Saturday.

In an official statement released to the media by the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, it was specified that officers from the Criminal Police Department at the Burgas Regional Directorate, acting in cooperation with representatives from the Tsarevo District Police Department, detained the two owners of a property located in the Akhtopol area.

During the operation, authorities seized 12 cannabis plants with heights of approximately 130 cm and 160 cm, about 10 grams of green plant matter (marijuana), four small balls of plant matter (marijuana), a grinder, and an electronic scale.

The investigation into the case is ongoing and is being conducted by the Tsarevo District Police Department.
