Burgas is getting ready to host a colorful and inspiring festival entirely dedicated to preserving Bulgarian folklore and traditions. Over the course of three days, from September 18, 2026, to September 20, 2026, the city will become a stage for numerous folk ensembles arriving from various Bulgarian communities around the world. Participants will showcase the richness of folk art to the audience, featuring distinctive songs, captivating dances, and diverse customs.

This large-scale event is organized jointly by the Association of Bulgarian Folklore Ensembles Abroad and "Postbox for Fairy Tales" (Poshtenska kutiya za prikazki). Its realization is made possible through the support of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad and the Municipality of Burgas. By joining forces, the organizers aim to create a space for a fruitful meeting between generations, which will help preserve the Bulgarian cultural identity. A rich program is being prepared for attendees, including concert performances, authentic folk dances, demonstrations of traditional costumes from different ethnographic regions, special guest performers, festive evening spectacles, and opportunities for exchanging experience among cultural organizations from all over the world.
