On September 13, 2026, Burgas will host the ninth edition of "Burgas Run," one of the most anticipated sporting events in the city. The event returns with a new start, updated routes, and the inclusion of a 21 km half-marathon. The organizers are relying on the support of the Municipality of Burgas.

Participants can choose between three main disciplines: 5 km with a one-hour time limit, 10 km with a two-hour limit, and the 21 km run, which consists of two laps and a three-hour time limit. The courses start from the square in front of the NHK Cultural Center and pass through the Sea Garden and the coastal zone. Temporary traffic closures on key thoroughfares are planned along the route.

Every runner has the opportunity to request a specialized T-shirt during registration, with two different designs available. For participants under 18, it is mandatory to submit a declaration signed by a parent or guardian, which is available on the event's official website.
