From 2026, amateur fishing in Bulgaria will become more expensive. The annual ticket will cost 50 BGN instead of the current 25 BGN. The increase is part of a new tariff that provides for an increase in all fees of IARA (Executive Agency for Fisheries and Aquaculture) by between 50 and 100%.
