The 43rd edition of the "Golden Rose" festival in Varna opened its doors. Minister Bacheva emphasized the festival's importance for Bulgarian cinema and international cooperation. The event presents the latest films and encourages the exchange of ideas.

Varna is once again in the spotlight, becoming the center of Bulgarian cinema.

The 43rd edition of the "Golden Rose" festival, supported by the Ministry of Culture, opened its doors, bringing the coast to life with the stories, dreams, and pursuits of Bulgarian artists.

The Minister of Culture, Marian Bacheva, at the festival"s opening, defined "Golden Rose" as one of the brightest and most significant film forums in Bulgaria"s cultural calendar.

The atmosphere is filled with anticipation – the air is saturated with the emotions of the filmmakers, prepared to present their latest works.

The Festival as a Driver of Trends

Bacheva emphasized that this year"s edition not only presents the peaks of Bulgarian cinema but also demonstrates the importance of international dialogue and cooperation in the film industry.

The presence of foreign artists on the jury, alongside established Bulgarian names, according to the minister, is an undeniable sign of the active participation of Bulgarian cinema on the world stage.
