A woman from Ruen municipality has found her name on the list of a polling station commission in the village of Topchiysko. The list names her as deputy chair, although she never gave her personal data for this.
The woman says this breaks the personal data protection law. She has filed a complaint with the Regional Election Commission (REC) in Burgas and with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).
The Burgas REC replied that it has no powers to deal with such complaints. It said the matter is for the CPDP, which is the body in charge.
