Knife incident in Varna: Four injured

A serious incident shook Varna today after a 47-year-old woman attacked four people with a knife. The report was filed shortly before 2:00 PM in the area of a supermarket on "Podvis" Street.

According to preliminary information, the attacker is a citizen of Lithuania. The condition of the wounded is currently being clarified.

Details of the case:

• Three of the victims are undergoing medical examinations to determine the severity of their injuries.
• The fourth victim has been examined and has already been released for home treatment.
• Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Varna.

Traffic on "Podvis" Street is hindered due to ongoing procedural actions, with a detour route provided for passing vehicles.

We remind you that this is another case of aggression with a cold weapon in the country following similar incidents in Sofia and the seaside capital earlier this year.
