Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov announced that the government will try to restore dialogue with trade unions and employers to achieve satisfactory macroeconomic indicators for the budget.
“We will sit at the negotiating table, we will try again to restore dialogue with trade unions and employers, we will try to achieve macroeconomic indicators for the budget that will be satisfactory for a large part of the business, for a large part of society,” Zhelyazkov said to journalists.
He added that a “golden ratio” is being sought on income policy and expressed confidence that an agreement will be reached with the trade unions and employers in December. Zhelyazkov announced that representatives of the business and trade unions will be invited this week for new talks.
Earlier, Boyko Borisov announced that he had instructed the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance to withdraw the budget or find a legal form because it was adopted on first reading, until the dialogue with the tripartite is restored. According to him, work will continue with the old budget.
