Yellow Code Warning for Icy Conditions in Sofia-grad, Sofia Province, Pernik, and Montana

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a first-degree warning for icy conditions in some areas. Light rain and reduced visibility are expected in the morning.

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow code warning for icy conditions in the Sofia-grad, Sofia-oblast, Pernik and Montana regions.

In the morning, light rain will fall, and there are conditions for the formation of black ice.

Today will be cloudy. In the morning, many areas in the flat part of the country will have reduced visibility and fog. It will be almost calm or with a weak south-southwesterly wind, which around and after noon in Eastern Bulgaria and in places north of the mountains will strengthen and visibility will improve. Light rain will fall in separate places in Western Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures in most of the country will be between 3° and 8°, higher in the eastern regions and in places sensitive to a southern wind, and for Sofia - around 6°.
