The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) issued a warning about variable atmospheric pressure, which will be lower than the usual values for the season. The meteorological forecast indicates significant temperature variations and the possibility of local atmospheric phenomena.

The morning hours will be characterized by clear skies and sunny weather. After noon, the development of cumulus clouds is expected, accompanied by possible short-term precipitation and thunderstorms in the northwestern and southeastern regions of the country.

Temperature amplitudes will vary significantly – in the plain areas, maximum values will reach between 30° and 35°, with the forecast in Sofia being around 30 degrees. Sofia residents should be prepared for rapid atmospheric changes.

The Black Sea region will experience similar meteorological conditions. Morning low cloudiness will gradually give way to sunny weather, followed by afternoon short-term increases in cloudiness. Expected temperatures along the coast will be between 27° and 29°, with sea water temperature around 26°. Wave height will reach up to 3 points.

Mountain areas will go through a similar scenario – morning sun, afternoon cumulus clouds, and possible local precipitation, especially in the Eastern Rhodopes and western sections of the Stara Planina. At an altitude of 1200 meters, temperatures will reach around 24°, and at 2000 meters – around 17°.

The wind will be predominantly weak to moderate, with eastern and northeastern characteristics, which will additionally influence atmospheric conditions.
