Health Minister: Intravenous administration of unregulated products is dangerous

Health Minister Katya Ivkova warned about the dangers of unregulated intravenous infusions and the online sale of drugs prohibited for sale without a prescription.

Minister of Health Katya Ivkova stated categorically that the administration of dietary supplements, cosmetic products, or medicines without marketing authorization in Bulgaria is inadmissible. The Law on Medicinal Products in Human Medicine strictly prohibits such practices.

"It is inadmissible for intravenous injections to be performed by unqualified individuals, regardless of whether in a medical facility or outside of one," Minister Ivkova emphasized.
