Increased control over social services in the country
Minister of Labor and Social Policy Natalia Efremova stated that control activities regarding unregulated social services are continuing regularly and do not stop. The comment was made during a visit to the village of Voden in the Bolyarovo municipality.
Our control activities are carried out regularly; they do not stop, stated Minister Efremova.
Key highlights from the statement:
- Lack of increased reports: This year, there have been no registered bad practices or a peak in complaints regarding unregulated services.
- New legal tools: The adopted amendments to the Penal Code provide the Social Services Quality Agency with greater administrative powers.
- Effective measures: The Agency now has mechanisms for taking direct action, including the closure of unregulated facilities.
Minister Efremova's visit to the Bolyarovo municipality coincided with the opening of the renovated Home for the Elderly in the village of Voden, which underscores the ministry's commitment to quality care for the elderly.
