The professional football team "Ludogorets" officially announced the transfer of their central defender Noah Sonko-Sundberg to the Greek club "Aris Thessaloniki". The deal is negotiated under extremely specific circumstances - without direct financial obligations from the Greek club and with an included option for future player redemption.
The footballer's story in the Bulgarian team began in July 2023, when "Ludogorets" signed him from "Levski". Subsequently, in August 2024, the team loaned him to the Turkish "Sivasspor", where Sonko-Sundberg participated in the local Superleague during the 2024/25 season.
The statistics of the 29-year-old Gambian footballer in the "Ludogorets" team are more than impressive. During his period in the team, he played a total of 36 matches, managing to score two goals and provide two assists in all tournaments.
This transfer represents another strategic step in the young defender's career, who demonstrates his ability to adapt to different football championships and teams. Moving to "Aris Thessaloniki" will undoubtedly provide new opportunities for Sonko-Sundberg's professional development.
