The meeting of the Budget and Finance Committee scheduled for today did not take place due to lack of a quorum.
The meeting was supposed to start at 2:15 PM, with the chairman of the committee, Delyan Dobrev, postponing the start by an additional 5 minutes to wait for MPs who might be late. After the additional time expired, Dobrev stated that the meeting would not take place due to lack of a quorum, pointing out that another attempt will be made tomorrow for the committee to convene.
The agenda of today's meeting included consideration in first reading of draft laws for amending and supplementing the Corporate Income Tax Act, the Public Debt Act, the Credit Institutions Act and the Public Offering of Securities Act.
