The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced upcoming pavement measurement activities in the emergency lane of the Trakia Motorway, between the 90th and 98th kilometer, in the lane towards Bourgas.

The activities will be carried out between September 20 and 21, between 6:00 and 18:00 hours. This is an important stage in the preparation for the upcoming preventive repair of the 8-kilometer section of the motorway located in the Pazardzhik region.

During these two days, the equipment necessary for the measurements will be placed in stages in the emergency lane. This will lead to limited access to it, although traffic in the active and overtaking lanes will be unimpeded.

The restriction of movement in the emergency lane is expected to have a minimal impact on the overall traffic on the motorway, but the RIA calls on drivers to comply with the changed conditions.

The agency appeals to drivers for particular vigilance and observance of road signs.

We urge drivers to strictly observe the posted road signs and to drive carefully, keeping a safe distance. To drive at an appropriate speed and not to undertake risky overtaking maneuvers that endanger the safety of all other travelers.

The recommendation for appropriate speed and avoidance of risky maneuvers is essential for preventing potential accidents, considering the temporary restrictions in the emergency lane.
