Six people were arrested in Burgas during a large-scale police operation related to drugs. Methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, and other evidence were seized. The investigation continues.

Six people, five men and one woman, have been detained in Burgas during a large-scale police operation conducted jointly by officers from the Burgas Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interiors Criminal Police Department, the Special Tactical Actions Sector, and the First Regional Police Department _ Burgas.

The operation focused on private homes in the Pobeda neighborhood of Burgas, specifically on Opulchenska and Vladislav streets.

A search and seizure was carried out at the home of a 43-year-old man with a criminal record on Opulchenska Street. Police officers found and seized approximately 10 grams of a crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine, an electronic scale, and numerous plastic bags typical for drug distribution. The discovery of a significant amount of cash approximately 28,000 leva in various banknotes _ is also noteworthy. The property owner, his wife, and his two sons were detained. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated. The captivating atmosphere during the operation was underscored by the seriousness of the police actions.

It_s important to note that the same family was detained in May of this year, at which time nearly 100 grams of methamphetamine and a large sum of money were seized. This raises questions about the scale of the alleged criminal activity and possible links to other individuals or groups. The repeated detention of the family suggests the need for a thorough investigation to uncover the entire network in which they might be involved.

Police actions were not limited to this address. Operational officers checked two more homes in the Pobeda neighborhood, inhabited by two brothers with criminal records. In one of the homes, located on Vladislav Street, dry herbal mass, presumably marijuana, an electronic scale, and plastic bags were found and seized. A 24-year-old and a 26-year-old man the brothers inhabiting the home were detained on the spot.

The investigation is ongoing and is crucial for uncovering the full picture of the activities of the detained individuals. Additional clues and potential participants in the criminal activities are the subject of intensive investigations.
