A man with a criminal record and a prior conviction from Stara Zagora has been detained for the unlawful taking of a car from Nessebar, announced the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior (RDIA) - Burgas.
The man has been identified as the perpetrator of the theft of a "Fiat Multipla" car with Burgas registration, parked on "Struma" street in Nessebar. The theft was committed on December 29th. The stolen vehicle was discovered after operational and investigative actions carried out by officers of the "Criminal Police" department at the RDIA - Burgas and the Nessebar Regional Police Department, with the assistance of police teams from the RDIA - Gabrovo and Lovech.
An indictment has been filed against the detainee, and by order of the supervising prosecutor, a "detention" measure has been imposed for a period of up to 72 hours.
Work on the case continues by officers of the Nessebar Regional Police Department.
