A 39-year-old man has been detained in Burgas on suspicion of stealing construction machinery and tools from a building site in the Meden Rudnik district, Burgas regional police (ODMVR) said. Officers found the stolen items, worth about €2,500, and seized them from him.
The report reached the Fourth District Police Department at about 9.30am yesterday. The equipment had gone missing from a building site near block 294.
The man is from Burgas and has a criminal record, police said.
