Stopping and parking will be banned in several parts of Sofia on Sunday, 1 November, the day of the presidential and vice-presidential run-off, and traffic in the centre may be halted at times.

The curbs apply around the Arena 8888 hall, on Asen Yordanov Boulevard and in the city centre.

From 8:00am on 1 November, drivers will not be able to stop or park on either side of the lane between Atanas Uzunov and Manastirska streets, north and east of Arena 8888. The same applies to the car parks next to the hall. The ban lasts until the election materials have been moved.

On Asen Yordanov Boulevard, stopping and parking will be banned on both carriageways from Aviation Square to Shipchenski Prohod Boulevard. The ban starts at 8:00pm and lasts until the election materials have been moved.

Cars belonging to members of the polling station and district election commissions are exempt from the bans.

From 7:00pm on 1 November, traffic on both carriageways of Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard, between Atanas Burov Square and G. S. Rakovski Street, may be stopped in stages. Traffic police at Sofia's city police directorate (SDVR) will decide, depending on the situation. The measure applies while the district election commissions move and hand over the election documents and materials.

Parking spaces have also been set aside for running the vote. Three are at 54 Alabin Street, reserved from 27 October until the end of election day.

Another 13 spaces are reserved from 26 October, also until the end of election day. Ten are in the former official car park of Lozenets district at 2 Vasil Levski Boulevard. The other three are on Fridtjof Nansen Boulevard, between Petar Beron Street and Vasil Levski Boulevard.
