The caretaker Minister of Justice, Andrey Yankulov, expressed a position regarding the investigations initiated by the prosecution against the ministers and the prime minister, based on reports from yellow media. He stated that he has no concerns about the investigations, but expressed doubts about the prosecution's motives, especially in the context of the upcoming elections.

Yankulov also commented on the lack of transparency and competition in the selection of employees in the judicial system, pointing out specific examples of non-transparent appointments, including the secondment of a prosecutor to Eurojust without clear criteria. He stressed the need for an independent commission and clear rules in such procedures.
