From September 22, 2026, Wizz Air will start regular direct flights from Varna to Rome (Fiumicino Airport). Flights will operate three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
The new route is part of Wizz Air's strategy to expand its network from Bulgarian airports and to offer more opportunities for affordable travel. The airline continues to develop its presence in Varna and to support regional connectivity.
Currently, Wizz Air operates regular direct flights from Sofia to Warsaw (Modlin Airport).
