During the night, it will be mostly clear over the western half of the country. Over the east, there will be significant low cloud cover, and reduced visibility in places, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny. By noon in the eastern regions, visibility will improve, and the low cloud cover will temporarily decrease. There will be a weak, in Eastern Bulgaria a moderate wind from the east-northeast. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 4° and 1°, higher along the Black Sea coast – between 3° and 6°. The maximum temperatures will be between 13° and 18°, lower in the eastern regions. In Sofia – minimum around minus 1°, maximum – around 15°.
Atmospheric pressure is higher than the monthly average, but will slightly decrease. Along the Black Sea coast in the morning, there will be reduced visibility and low cloud cover in places. In the afternoon, visibility will improve, and the cloud cover will decrease, and sunny weather will prevail. There will be a moderate northeast wind. The maximum temperatures will be between 9° and 13°. The sea water temperature is 6°-8°. The sea swell will be 3-4 points.
In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny. Over the eastern parts of the Balkan Mountains, Strandzha and Sakar, before noon there will be significant low cloud cover and visibility will be reduced in places. There will be a moderate wind from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 10°, at 2000 meters – around 2°. On Friday and Saturday, it will be mostly sunny. Significant low cloud cover, and reduced visibility in places, will occur in the morning in Eastern Bulgaria; conditions for short-lived morning fogs will also occur along the Danube River, as well as in places in the lowlands and valleys. The wind in the ground layer will most often be from the east-northeast – weak, in the eastern regions up to moderate. The prevailing minimum temperatures will be close to zero, and the maximum – between 13° and 18°, lower in the far eastern regions - between 8° and 12°.
