Over the next 24 hours, it will be cloudy. There will be rain, significant in the Rila-Rhodope region, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
The atmospheric pressure will continue to decrease and will be significantly lower than the monthly average.
During the night and tomorrow before noon in the western and central parts of the Danubian Plain, there will be mainly light rain and there will be conditions for icy roads. The rain will fall latest, only in the evening, in the eastern regions of the country. In Eastern Bulgaria and in places on the northern slopes of the mountains, a moderate to strong wind will blow from the south-southeast. It will remain warm for the end of January with minimum temperatures between 4° and 9°, maximum - between 9° and 14°, lower in Northwestern Bulgaria and the high western fields. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 2°, the maximum 6°-7°.
On the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy, but there will be rain only during the night towards Tuesday. There will be a weak and moderate southeast wind. The maximum temperatures will be 8°-12°. The sea water temperature is 5°-8°. The sea swell on the northern coast will be 3-4 points, and on the southern coast 2-3 points.
In the mountains it will be cloudy with rain, above 1700-1800 meters snow, but during the day the border between rain and snow will decrease. There will be a strong and stormy southern wind, but during the day it will start to weaken, and in the evening in the western regions of the country it will be oriented from the northwest and with it cold air will begin to penetrate. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 8°, at 2000 meters – around 1°.
On Tuesday it will remain cloudy, with rain, but it will gradually weaken, and by the evening it will stop everywhere. In the afternoon from the west the cloudiness will start to break up. The wind will temporarily orient itself from the west-northwest, in the Danubian Plain and will increase to moderate, with it relatively cold air will penetrate. Temperatures will drop slightly and in most of the country the minimums will be between 0° and 5°, and the maximums - between 5° and 10°, higher in the southeastern regions. On Wednesday before noon there will be broken cloudiness, in many areas to sunny. In the afternoon from the west the cloudiness will begin to increase rapidly and in the evening in the western regions it will rain. The morning will be colder with minimum temperatures around zero, and during the day the wind will again be from the south-southwest and the daytime temperatures will rise.
