In the next 24 hours, cloudy weather will prevail with temporary breaks in the cloud cover, mainly in the hours before noon over Southwestern Bulgaria. There will still be rainfall, more often in the eastern regions, and in the mountains in the afternoon. A moderate, in the Danube plain and the western part of the Upper Thracian lowland, and temporarily strong wind from the north-northwest will blow, which will weaken almost everywhere in the evening. The minimum temperatures will be between 2° and 7°, lower in the southwestern regions, the maximum in most places will be between 9° and 14°. In Sofia, the minimum temperature will be around 3°, the maximum – around 9°. This was announced by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
It will be cloudy on the Black Sea coast, with rain in places. A moderate, along the northern coast to a strong north-westerly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be 12°-13°. The temperature of the sea water is 7°-8°. The sea swell will be 2-3 points.
Above the mountains, the cloud cover will be broken, mainly significant after noon, when it will rain in isolated places, and snow in the high parts. A moderate, on the ridge of the Eastern Stara Planina and a strong west-north-westerly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 4°, at 2000 meters – around minus 1°.
On Tuesday, the wind will weaken and turn from east-southeast. After a temporary cessation of precipitation and a break in the cloud cover, in the afternoon hours from the south, the precipitation will activate again. The prevailing minimum temperatures will be between 0° and 5°, the maximum – between 10° and 15°. On Wednesday, the weather will be determined by a Mediterranean cyclone. It will be cloudy with widespread and significant rainfall, and snow in the mountains. In the high fields in Western Bulgaria and in the Western Predbalkan, the rain will turn into snow. The wind will be from the east-northeast, moderate and strong. Daytime temperatures will decrease.
