Temporary traffic suspension on Trakia Motorway
Drivers planning to travel on the Trakia Motorway today should be aware of a temporary traffic organization. At the request of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior – Burgas, traffic will be stopped in both directions in the time interval from 13:30 to 14:30.
The restriction is introduced by an order of the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) for the purpose of conducting a re-examination of the scene of the incident as part of the pre-trial proceedings initiated following the serious accident involving an overturned truck, in which a person died.
Detour route for drivers
To avoid the buildup of vehicles, an alternative route has been organized:
- Traffic will be redirected via the old Petolachkata – Karnobat road.
We urge drivers to observe road signs and follow the instructions of the police teams stationed in the area.
