Due to heavy snowfall and reduced visibility, traffic for all vehicles on the "Trakia" motorway between Burgas and Zimnitsa is temporarily restricted. For passenger cars, a detour on the old road Burgas – Karnobat is recommended, and for trucks over 12 tons – detour routes Petolachkata – Yambol – Sredets – Burgas and Petolachkata – Elhovo – Sredets – Burgas.
The movement of heavy vehicles over 12 tons is also restricted on II-73 (Rishki Pass) between Karnobat and the border with Shumen region, as well as on I-6 between Burgas and Yambol. 45 machines are working on the ground to clean and treat the republican road network. There are no reports of people in distress, and the signals received by the duty officer in the regional administration for fallen trees are being actively processed.
Drivers are urged to drive with increased caution, to follow the instructions of the control authorities and to use the designated detour routes.
The road Burgas - Dolno Ezerovo is closed to passenger cars in the section from “Somat” to the neighborhood due to flooding of “Dryanovo” street. This is the lowest point in the neighborhood and the water is running off from the fields. Only buses, minibuses and trucks are allowed. The detour route is through the “Jumbo” store and the “Gorno Ezerovo” neighborhood.
The rivers and streams in the municipality are at an increased level.
The flooded street in “Dolno Ezerovo” is being drained by a fire brigade team.
The amount of rain that fell is 65 liters per sq. m. There is no direct danger to the population. Water levels are being monitored. There are no settlements at risk. The water is draining, within an hour the section for Dolno Ezerovo will be opened.
