Temporary restrictions on Trakia Motorway on May 22
Travelers on Trakia Motorway should prepare for temporary traffic difficulties tomorrow, May 22. Between 08:30 AM and 04:00 PM, a change in traffic organization is required in the section between the 87th and 90th km, in the direction of Sofia.
The reason for the restriction is the performance of planned roadside vegetation removal activities, aimed at improving visibility and road safety.
How will traffic be managed?
- Activities will be carried out in stages.
- The passing lane in the specified section will be restricted.
- Traffic will be redirected entirely into the active lane.
The Road Infrastructure Agency (API) urges drivers to drive with increased caution, strictly follow the posted signage, and avoid risky maneuvers and overtaking.
