The Ministry of Transport and Communications has officially announced that it does not send SMS messages, emails, or notifications through mobile applications requesting payments, the provision of sensitive personal data, or the downloading of suspicious files.
Citizens must be extremely vigilant and not fall for fraud attempts disguised behind the name of the state institution.
How to protect yourself from fraud?
- Do not open links: Never click on links in messages from which you did not expect communication.
- Do not share data: Never provide bank information or personal data in response to suspicious messages.
- Verify the source: The Ministry does not communicate with citizens in this way.
The ministry's press office confirmed that the competent authorities have already been notified of the case and the necessary actions have been taken to investigate the fraudulent messages.
