In connection with the upcoming introduction of the Euro as the official currency in Bulgaria, activities will be carried out to update the electronic system for collecting road tolls.
From 22:00 on December 16th (Tuesday) to 01:00 on December 17th (Wednesday), difficulties may be possible when purchasing electronic vignettes and route maps.
From 22:00 on December 17th to 02:00 on December 18th (Thursday), difficulties are possible when purchasing route maps.
In this regard, the National Toll Administration recommends that drivers purchase their necessary electronic vignette or route map in advance.
The update will not affect the automatic recording of the distance traveled by heavy goods vehicles.
