The General Labour Inspectorate warns of dangerous emails being distributed on behalf of the institution. Do not open any attachments! Find out how to recognize the scam.

Attention: Dangerous emails sent on behalf of the GII

The Executive Agency "General Labour Inspectorate" (GII) is warning about the distribution of fraudulent electronic messages. The name of the institution is being misused in them to mislead citizens.

Citizens should not open the emails or the files attached to them.

Official messages from the Agency are sent only from the @gli.government.bg domain. Any other extension is an indication of a phishing attack or malicious software.

Despite the attempts at abuse, the Agency continues its active work. For the first six months of 2026, over 96,000 violations were identified, 24,772 inspections were carried out, and 1,774 individuals working without an employment contract were discovered. Additionally, 51,576 violations of health and safety conditions at work were recorded.
