The Navy has rescued all 18 crew of the container ship CONTSHIP JET, the Ministry of Defence said. An unmanned surface drone hit the ship today, 17 nautical miles east of Cape Kaliakra.
Earlier today, the defence ministers of Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey condemned drone attacks on merchant ships in Sofia and called on them to stop.

The ship sails under the Liberian flag and was heading for the port of Constanta. It was struck at 12:00 and was hit three times in all.
Right after the first strike, the Navy sent three of its ships to the scene. By about 13:45 the crew had been rescued.
The Navy's monitoring system recorded the strike, as did a French maritime patrol aircraft flying over the western Black Sea. The French crew gave the Navy's operations centre details of the sea drones it had spotted.
