Rainfall is expected in the western regions of the country, and it will be more significant in the Eastern Rhodopes. The wind will be weak, and in Eastern Bulgaria and the northern parts of the mountains, it is expected to be moderate to strong, with a southerly direction. Temperatures during the night will be between 7 and 12 degrees, and in some places in Northern Bulgaria and Eastern Bulgaria they will reach between 12 and 16 degrees. In Sofia, a temperature of around 9 degrees is expected. Atmospheric pressure will begin to slowly rise, but will remain lower than the monthly average.
Tomorrow the weather will continue to be cloudy, with rainfall mainly in Northern and Western Bulgaria. These rains will continue overnight into Wednesday. Significant rainfall is expected in Northern and Western Bulgaria, as well as in the southern regions of the Eastern Rhodopes. In the Danube Plain, a weak to moderate west-northwest wind will blow, bringing cold air. In Eastern Bulgaria, the wind will remain from the south-southwest, and will be moderate and strong, especially in Southeastern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will be between 8 and 9 degrees in the northwestern regions and 21 degrees in the southeastern regions, and in Sofia - around 15 degrees.
On the Black Sea coast, mostly cloudy weather is expected. In the afternoon and evening, mainly along the northern coast, there will be rainfall. The wind will be moderate and strong, with a south-southwesterly direction, and it will be strongest along the southern coast. Maximum temperatures will reach between 16 and 21 degrees. The sea water temperature will be between 14 and 16 degrees. The sea state will be 3-4 Beaufort, but with a tendency to weaken.
In the mountains the weather will be cloudy, with rain. Above 2200-2300 meters, the precipitation will be snow, but in the Western Stara Planina, the snow line will be around 1600 meters, and in the evening it will drop to 1300-1400 meters. Strong and stormy south-westerly winds are expected in the mountains. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 12 degrees, and at 2000 meters - around 6 degrees.
In the coming days, temperatures in the country are expected to be in a wide range. Minimum temperatures will be between 6 and 7 degrees in the northwestern regions and 15-16 degrees in the southeastern regions. Maximum temperatures will vary from 10-12 degrees in some places in Western Bulgaria to 20-21 degrees in Eastern Bulgaria. On Wednesday, in most of the country, it will remain cloudy with rainfall, which will be significant in quantity in places in Western Bulgaria, the Eastern Rhodopes and the central and eastern regions of the Stara Planina. The wind will weaken and will turn from the north-northeast. In Southeastern Bulgaria, where a moderate to strong south-southwesterly wind will continue to blow, the weather will be almost without rain. On Thursday, in most areas, the rainfall will stop, and the cloud cover will temporarily break up and decrease. Later in the day, it will increase again and in some places, mainly in the mountainous areas, there will be light rain.
