Viktor Asenov: The man for whom impossible is just a word
What does the world look like when you don't see it with your eyes? Viktor Asenov – one of the most inspiring Bulgarians – will provide the answer at this year's Teen Boom Fest 2026. On August 23rd at 4:00 PM at the Burgas Sea Station, he will share his story of willpower, courage, and the strength of the spirit.
"The limits are in our minds, and we can always expand them." – Viktor Asenov
From "Vitosha 100" to Everest
Viktor has been blind from birth, but that does not stop him from being the only blind mountain ultramarathon runner in Bulgaria. Among his impressive achievements are:
- Completing the iconic "Vitosha 100" course with the help of his pacers.
- Successfully finishing the 160-kilometer Persenk Ultra ultramarathon.
- The Everesting challenge in 2025: 19 ascents of Cherni Vrah in 46 hours without sleep (9,114 m elevation gain).
Why you shouldn't miss the meeting
Besides being a successful athlete, Viktor is a motivational speaker and an advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. Meeting him is not just a lecture, but a lesson in humanity, trust, and belief in one's own abilities. Come to the "Inspirers" zone to hear how every obstacle can be turned into a strength.
